A week after the numbers were drawn in the $451 million Mega Millions, the sole winner of the jackpot is stepping forward.

Shane Missler, a 20-year-old who bought the ticket from a 7-Eleven in Port Richey, Fla., posted a simple Facebook message the night of the drawing on Jan. 5.

“Oh. My. God.”

Now, there’s context to that message.

“Although I’m young I’ve had a crash course this week in financial management and I feel so fortunate to have this incredible wealth and team behind me,” he said in a release from Florida attorney Walt Blenner of the Blenner Law Group, according to the Tampa Bay Times. “I intend to take care of my family, have some fun along the way and cement a path for financial success so that I can leave a legacy far into the future.”

Missler, originally from Livermore, Maine, will take the lump sum payout of $281.2 million. With his new source of income, he “retired” from his job at a background screening company.

The winning numbers were: 28, 30, 39, 59, 70 and the Mega Ball was 10.
