The video, posted Nov. 9, notes that Arkansas voted to legalize medical marijuana in the last election. However, it warns that the vote didn’t change the national guard’s rules.

“Arkansas soldiers and airmen will still face administrative action or military justice for any marijuana use,” the video says.

“Take care of your career,” the video says. “Don’t smoke marijuana recreationally or medically.”

The Facebook post includes a link to a memo by Major General Mark H. Berry and distributed throughout the Arkansas National Guard. It notes that federal military regulations prohibit the use and possession of marijuana, wther medical or not.
