A photograph of six friends at a Louisiana plantation went viral this week due to an unexpected image that was caught on camera in the background.

The Myrtles Plantation in St. Francisville posted the photo on Facebook, and it quickly drew comments and reactions from people across the country.

In the photo, a group of women are pictured in front of windows at the plantation, smiling for the camera. Upon further inspection, something unexplained can be seen in one of the windows behind the women.

“Not your average guest selfie,” the Facebook post reads.

The window shows the face of what appears to be a woman. The photo was shared more than 2,000 times on Facebook, many people wondering if the woman is Chloe, a slave girl who some say has been seen in several photographs taken at the plantation.
