Former Razorback and NBA player Ronnie Brewer was arrested early Sunday morning in Fayetteville on a driving while intoxicated charge (DWI).

Brewer, 32, was booked into Washington County Detention Center at 1:03 AM and was released at 2:30 AM after posting a $1,055 bond. A court date is set for August 21 next month in Fayetteville.

The Fayetteville High School star was voted the best boys basketball player in the state in 2003, earning the “Mr. Basketball of Arkansas” crown.

The 6-7 went on to play 90 games for the Razorbacks averaging 15.7 points, 5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game.

Brewer played 11 seasons in the NBA for six different teams, his last year coming in 2014. He averaged just under eight points and three rebounds per game.
