Hot Springs Police investigated a single vehicle crash Wednesday Morning around 7:10AM on the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Expressway’s Carpenter Dam Road Eastbound Off Ramp.

Evidence at the scene suggested that the black Toyota 4Runner was traveling east on the off ramp when it departed the right side of the pavement, slammed into the Garvan Woodland Gardens highway sign, and collided with a small tree at the edge of the woods. The 4Runner came to final rest in the grassy roadside adjacent to the tree it struck.
LifeNet EMS dispatched an Ambulance Crew to the scene. It is unknown to me if anyone was transported to the hospital.
Traffic flow was interrupted for approximately 15 minutes.
