Hot Springs Police Corporal May reported that he was patrolling near West Grand Avenue on December 24 around 7:18 pm and saw a Chevrolet Impala swerving into the wrong lane twice.
Cpl. May conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver, Sonya Fugitt, 43, of West Grand Avenue in Hot Springs, said she had hydrocodone pills in the console of her vehicle.



Cpl. May searched the vehicle and found 7 hydrocodone pills and a clear plastic bag containing white residue from the pills. Ms. Fugitt said she bought the pills from a friend and didn’t have a prescription.
Ms. Fugitt was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for prosecution. She is charged with Felony Possession Of A Controlled Substance and her bond was set at $3,500.
