Hot Springs Police were dispatched to the Garland Towers Apartments on Oriole Street on December 12 just after midnight in reference to a disturbance.
Officers arrived and made contact with the suspect, Paige White, 31, of Hot Springs. She was fighting with her mother and acting very disorderly. White was cussing loudly and disturbing other occupants on her floor.
Officers asked White to be quiet, but she wouldn’t. White had an active warrant through the Hot Springs Police Department for failure to appear.
White actively pulled her arms away and kicked at Officers when they tried to arrest her. She broke free, ran to a back room, and grabbed a hold of her mother’s boyfriend who was sitting on a mattress.
White wouldn’t let go of the man, continued to yell, and resist arrest. An officer tased White in the back after telling her he would if she didn’t let go.
White was arrested and cleared for booking by LifeNet. White continued being disorderly and pulling away from officers while they put her in the police vehicle.
White is charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
