Bikers gather to remember seven veterans killed in motorcycle crash

Dozens of bikers gathered June 29 in front of the Arkansas State Capitol for a ride to honor the seven victims of a deadly motorcycle crash that happened last week in New Hampshire.

The majority of those victims were marine veterans.

Saturday’s ride was organized by the Arkansas Widows Sons Motorcycle Riders Association.

Aside from remembering and honoring the victims, the ride was also meant to raise money for the families of the victims.

“We just want to show our brothers and sisters, who ride in that part of the country, that we’re thinking about them, we care about them and hopefully we can support them a little bit with our contributions,” said Paul Johnston, a member of the Arkansas Widows Sons Motorcycle Association.

Anyone can donate to the victim’s families through the GoFundMe account, or you can get more information on the Jarheads Motorcycle Club Facebook page.
