Barry has been downgraded to a tropical storm. Hurricane Barry did make landfall near Intracoastal City, Louisiana.
As Tropical Storm Barry makes rainfall in Louisiana, Arkansans are wondering how much rainfall the state will receive.
A flash flood watch has been issued for half of the state including the Little Rock metro through Monday evening.
While the storm’s track has shifted west, we can still expect a combination of gusty winds, heavy rain and even the potential of weak spin-up tornadoes on Sunday, July 14 and possibly into Monday, July 15.
Little Rock will see around two to five inches of rainfall over the next couple of days. Wind gusts are expected to be between 15 to 30 mph.
THV11 Weather Team
Heavy rain will move from Louisiana into Arkansas late Saturday and spread north through Sunday.
We will keep you updated as the storm gets closer to Arkansas.
