Hot Springs Police took a theft report at Oaklawn Casino on November 22, 2019. Derrick Patrick Belton, 42, of Pebblegate Trail in Garland County, is accused of grabbing several purple $500 poker chips (estimated value $17,000) from the rack in front of the dealer and the running out of the casino.

Derrick Patrick Belton, 42, of Pebblegate Trail in Garland County – allegedly signed in with his player’s card, grabbed $17,000 worth of poker chips, then fled from the building.
Mr. Belton’s alleged actions were captured on multiple video cameras and turned over to police. Mr. Belton allegedly used his Oaklawn Casino Player’s Card to sign into the poker table that he allegedly fled from.
He was positively identified across the video, his driver’s license photo and another police computer system. A Felony Theft arrest warrant was obtained and served on Mr. Belton at his home on November 25, 2019 at 10:40AM.
Mr. Belton was arrested and transported to the Garland County Detention Center for processing. He is charged with Felony Theft with a bond of $3,500.
