The guest speakers on Thursday, Dec. 5 at the Mountain Home Rotary Club were Virginia Cornett and Sandy Priebe with the Arkansas Quilt Trail. Cornett spoke about the different quilt patterns that people may choose from or design their own that, after approved, are then painted in large squares on plywood and attached to barns, businesses, buildings, or fences. They hope to have “barn quilts” in every county in Arkansas, and are off to a good start with almost 100 currently on display in a five-county area. They gave each Rotarian a pamphlet and map that shows the patterns and addresses of the North Central Arkansas “Quilt Trail”.   Pictured above are MH Rotary President Kriss Yunker and guest speakers Virginia Cornett and Sandy Priebe.
