Imagine browsing 35 booths filled with beautiful handcrafted jewelry, ceramics, fiber, glass, wood, photography, mixed media, drawings, and paintings in myriad styles. You can do that Friday through Sunday under a giant and gorgeous chandelier at StoneCreek Ranch in Mountain Home.

Art Fair at StoneCreek is the only juried art event in north central Arkansas, which means that every participating artist was chosen by a jury of five accomplished artists experienced in art fairs. All of the art shown is handmade and for sale.

The fair is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Attendees have the opportunity to talk with the artists about their work. Artists are here from Colorado, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and all across Arkansas, including the Twin Lakes Area. KTLO’s Treasure Chest will be at the fair 10 a.m.-noon Saturday. Attendees can bid on art from Jim Tindall, Yun Kim, Madeleine Litton, and Sherryl Adams in the silent auction to raise money for promoting the arts, and you can purchase chances to win the popular and beautiful raffle quilt sewn by the Hill ‘N Hollow Quilt Guild. Artist Jim Tindall will be drawing caricatures on Sunday. Enjoy sandwiches from The Hobo Beef Shack all weekend. Norfork Brewing Co. will be at the fair selling wine and beer on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is free, parking is easy, and a golf cart is available for those who need a ride to the door. StoneCreek Ranch is located at 626 Circle B Lane in the Buford area. Take 62/412 to 126 South, or 201 to CR 57, and follow the signs. You’ll find a map at
