A 34-year-old Summit man has been found guilty of multiple sex-related felonies, according to electronic court records.
David Alan Hoolihan was found guilty of 10 counts of incest and a single count of sexual assault in the second degree. A plea bargain will see Hoolihan serve 10 years in prison.
Hoolihan was arrested on Oct. 22 after a Marion County deputy responded to Hoolihan’s Summit residence for a domestic disturbance.
Upon arriving, the deputy encountered Hoolihan and his wife arguing, according to the affidavit. Hoolihan told the deputy he was going to go to jail anyways because of what he had done to a young relative.
After being read his Miranda Rights, Hoolihan admitted to having intercourse with a female relative. He denied an allegation that he inappropriately touched a second young female relative. However, in court on Wednesday, he entered a no-contest plea to the charge he earlier denied regarding the second victim.
The affidavit in the case is too graphic to repeat in a family newspaper. It describes Hoolihan engaging in inappropriate behavior with a young girl on multiple occasions.
